sailing HOLIDAYS IN SCOTLAND
/ 06 DAY SKIPPERED SAILING HOLIDAYS SCOTLAND
SAIL THE inner hebridies
COME and join us - on a skippered yacht in scotland
Join our crew as we explore the stunning West Coast of Scotland – and some of the finest sailing anywhere in the World.
Combine great sailing in sheltered waters with trips ashore to distilleries, fresh seafood restaurants and great local pubs.
Starting and ending in Inverkip Marina, we will spend six days exploring the stunning scenery of the Firth of Clyde and the Inner Hebridean islands of Gigha, Jura and Islay.
sailING the firth of clyde
INVERKIP our home base on the Clyde is a great starting point – only a few miles from Glasgow Airport and at the head of the beautiful Firth of Clyde.
TIGHNABRUICH a stunning location, as are all these places, and also the home to the Kyles 10 miles if you need a release from sailing…
ARRAN Lamlash on the East side of the island, or Brodick have both moorings and shoreside facilities….
sailING to GIGHA
CAMPBELTOWN on the Mull of Kintyre, a place which deserves to be famous – not because of the song but because of Springbank whisky!
GIGHA picking up a mooring buoy and taking our tender ashore to explore the stunning untouched island of Gigha before eating fresh seafood ashore in the Boathouse on the shore overlooking our yacht.
Not a bad way to travel.
sailing to jura and islay
JURA sail up the Sound of Jura to the infamous Corryvrekan and head in to Croab marina where there is always a warm welcome and good company with other intrepid sailors.
ISLAY is always a good destination – so many distilleries and so little time…
The inner hebrides with it’s Gulf Stream influenced climate is home to palm trees and tropical plants and some of the most wonderful sailing in the UK.
